Happy belated Fathers Day!

Jay is a unique individual!
If you agree - say Oh Ya!
He is smart, spiritual, and
HILARIOUS!
Never ever a dull moment with him!
The coolest thing about him, is how much he loves his kids
and grand kids!

The computer crashed and apparently it has been fixed.
However. . .
my pictures are screwy lewy.
My folders need to be labeled and I could spend hours finding pictures of Jay and the kids & grandkids,
so for know,
Happy Belated Fathers Day!
The most important calling, Father, one you are never released from!

P.S. if it had been Mothers day, this is what I would have wanted. . .

Good bones - bad bones!

Bad bones first!
Painting furniture is a hazardous business!
I stubbed my toe while carrying a piece of furniture. After a couple of days of excruciating pain, I thought I better go to the Dr.! I knew it wasn't broke - I could wiggly it and it didn't hurt. But to walk, I wanted to cry.
The Dr. looked at my foot and said, "You only have two of these, you better take care of them."
The same foot with the hurt toe, also has a big toe losing a toe nail.
3 months ago, I stubbed it while carrying furniture and it has taken this long to finally get better.
My other foot has a big bruise on top from dropping furniture on it!
More info than you wanted to hear?
Well, if you get queasy, pass over this part . . . .
He gave me a cortisone shot in between my toes to relieve the pressure of a pressed nerve.
I think . . . after he said shot in between toes, I didn't hear much else.
It feels so much better!!!!!
Now on to the good bones!
This bench has good bones, just needed a little shot to make it better!
A shot of paint and fabric!I bought this a while ago and couldn't wait to use it!

A fresh coat of paint. . . .
A little distressing. . . .
some new fabric. . . .
some poly protection. . . .

It feels so much better!

This new baby is going to live at Morgans house!

Paige and Phil are having a baby.
Sometime soon.

Yahoo!
Besides getting my bag ready to make the 10 hr. drive.
I am also packing this shelf.
Paige wants to see if it works in her nursery!

Kinda cute!
With some baskets or books, or a sock monkey or two!

I have been so busy painting furniture,
I forgot to stop and smell the roses,
or in this case notice the flowers.
Beautiful!

Mystery solved

Almost everyday, I ride my bike or drive over to a pop machine and buy a diet pepsi!

I do this for 2 reasons.
1. I love the morning. .
2. I have no will power!

I buy just one diet pepsi, so I will only drink one.

On my morning excursion,
I started to notice there was a picture in the window of a frame shop by the pop machine.
Everyday, I would look at this picture and I could not for the life of me, think where I had seen it before!
I peeked through the window and looked at the price!
$599.00

It is an original oil painting!

I am making some cork boards, and I was searching through the pictures I had bought at various locations.
I only bought the pictures for the frames.
This is one of them I pulled out!

It has a $3.00 price tag on it,
and it looks similar to the $599.00 picture!

Even the frames are the same!
The $3.00 picture

The $599.00 oil painting!
Yup, mystery solved!

Before & After!

This was a special order for a really cute couple who are having their second baby soon - 3 weeks!
They need to get their daughter out of the crib and into a bed . . .
I would say pronto!
This is a full size, heavy bed with wood foot rails!
Love the posts!

Her name is Addie and she is adorable!
Hope she has sweet dreams in it!
(I would love to see how her room is decorated)

Before & After!

Jake - before the Dr. came into the room!
After !

Playing basketball!
He tried to steal the ball as a friend was going up for a lay up!
Dislocated his shoulder!
Painful!
They were going to send him to the ER to put him out, so they could pop it back in.
The X-ray showed it was in!
Whew!
Not a good way to start the summer, for someone who uses his right arm to spray pesticides!
Not a good way to start the summer, for someone who loves to wake board!
Not a good way to start the summer, for someone who loves to go to the gym and lift!
He will see a physical therapist next week, who will get him on track for a quick recovery!
When your child is in pain, no matter how old they are, You hurt too!

Before & After My new favorite!

I think there is a pattern here - every time I finish something, it is my new favorite!
I would love to take a picture of this outside in the natural light . . .
It's raining again . . .
Even if it wasn't it is too heavy for me to carry out!
This was easy to paint, it was in such good condition!
I heart this!

Lagoon!

We went to Lagoon and it was the perfect day, for a while!
Overcast, so it wasn't hot, the lines were not long.
This is how we started out the day!
Spencer isn't to sure what to think!
At the end of the day, he had the most fun!
Except for maybe the haunted house ride!
All he could talk about was the scary men on the wall!

Morgan looks pretty dang good!

Two cute babies!

Two peas in a pod!

The fun begins!
There is something about being scared to death!
And to think we pay for this!

If you look close, Morgan and Jake are in the back two seats!

Grandpa and Spencer!
They went on a lot of rides together!

Spencer would stick his chubby little arm out every time he went by!

Jays face tells all!

Then the rain came!
It was as fun as the rides,
watching the people run, drenched!
Pandemonium!

Jake wondering if he was going to be able to go on any more rides,
and watching a girl in her underwear!
It might have been a swimsuit, but I'm just not buying it!

I was smart!
Took an umbrella!
Who says you can't have fun in the rain?

Dry Dry Dry, while everyone else was soaked!

The rain passed and we continued on the rides until the lightening and rain came again!
Then we were soaked and cold and HAPPY to go home!
P.S. no throwing up this time, I think it was two years ago, Phil,Paige, Derek, Erin & Morgan all got sick!
Some one threw up, I can't remember wh0??????

Before & After

I loved this bed before!

It has such detail,

and rollers for wheels!

After a lot of stressing about what color . . .

painting it blue . . .

not loving it . . .

changing my mind again . . .
a coat of white . . .

I should have listened to Erin, she told me to paint it white the first time!

We need a little girl in the family,

I don't want to sell this one.

a little bit of blue shows through

one of a kind for sure!

Jay sees me walk out the door with a can of spray paint,
and he isn't sure what I am going to paint next.
He thinks everything looks fine, until I am done painting,
and then he likes it.

He even got in the spirit of things . . .

look at what he painted!

Ha Ha!

I love it!

Welcome to our house!

We are now both crazy!

LOVE HATE

We love were we live, we hate that when Jay has 4 days off, we work the whole time.
Well almost - I went to Salt Lake with Morgan one day!
cleaning the rain gutters.

In case he fell off, I wanted one last picture.

The big yard and all the work is worth it, when the kids and grand kids come.
Cooper loves the tractor!

Spencer, wasn't so sure. He is a sensitive little thing, and the loud noise, sent him running for his mom.

Cooper had a water gun, that he was getting us all wet with.

But Grandpa, had a better water gun - the sprinklers!

He turned them on, and it sent Cooper sprinting!

Having fun!

Watching Grandpa fixing the sprinklers and watching him get soaked!
They got a little bored after 2 seconds of watching, and wanted some more action.
Spencer was defenseless, when Cooper went after him.

Cooper better watch out, one day soon, Spencer will get even!
It really is heaven, after a hard days work!
When the sun is going down, and it is beautiful and peaceful!
And you can jump on the tramp and watch your shadow!

Day of rest & Fun!

On Sunday we went to church and then had a barbecue! Not only did we eat, we talked a lot and laughed a lot. The funniest thing of the day, was Spencer. We were saying a prayer on the food and he was driving his gator. He folded his arms and kept going. I am sure it was one of those things, you had to be there!
Cute little stinker, loves this gator!

Cooper wanted on and Spencer took off!

Spencer is either laughing hysterically at Cooper or fighting with him!

Lots of baseball!
Everyone took their turning pitching!

The bunny cage!

Paige & Cooper

Baby Baby Baby!

Not long now and Phil & Paige will be kissing the baby!

Maybe this was the funniest thing of the day!
Love ya Paige and next time we see you, it will be baby time!
It was a fun day and I LOVE my family!
